Book an Enlarger

Our darkroom is equipped with four professional enlargers, available to book for your printing sessions. Whether you work in black & white or colour, you can choose the setup that best suits your process.The B&W darkroom is equipped with chemicals, but you can choose the option for either your own chemicals or plant-based developer. Please email us if you want to use this option.

Please book in advance as we do not accept walk-ins.

Our Enlargers

We offer a selection of high-quality enlargers to accommodate a range of formats and printing styles:

Black & White Enlargers

  • Durst L1200 Multigraph, supports negatives up to 5×4

  • Durst M707 Multigraph, supports negatives up to 6×6

  • Print sizes up to 20×24"

Colour Enlargers

  • Durst CLS450 Enlarger, supports negatives up to 5×4

  • Durst CLS501 Enlarger, supports negatives up to 5×4

  • Print sizes up to 16×20"

Booking Information

All enlargers are available as dry hire, giving you the freedom to work independently at your own pace.

  • Monday – Wednesday: Self-service access (no technician on site), only bookable if you have already completed the safety induction

  • Thursday – Sunday: One of the founders is present for guidance, questions, and creative support

First-Time Users

If it’s your first time using our darkroom, a 30-minute safety induction is required before your session.

  • Covers safe handling of equipment and chemicals

  • Can be added during booking

  • One-time fee: £15

Never done it before? Book an introduction workshop now and we can teach you how to use all of the equipment. The safety induction will be included in the workshop.

Optional Extras

To make your session as smooth as possible, we offer:

  • Darkroom paper (sold per 5 or 10 sheets), if you use more during your session you will be charged per sheet used after the session.
